Jack turned 5

For Jack's birthday we had a couple of his good friends (Wyatt and Cody) come over for lunch and dessert! Wyatt (his best friend) even left school on his lunch hour so he could come...it made Jack's day. He's missed Wyatt since he started school. Later in the evening we opened presents and had cake. Jack helped decorate the cake. He was pretty proud of it.

Little Miss Elle Belle

Our little walker...almost

Ellie has finally decided she's interested in walking. However, she wants to run. If you hold onto her hands she just starts going as fast as she can. Sometimes she'll pull up on a chair and start going, but won't let go (because she knows she can't do it by herself yet) so her feet will just keep moving forward and then backward. She gets really frustrated when the furniture won't move with her.

Jacker boy

Jack and I were talking about the Word of Wisdom over lunch one day and Jack says:

"Hey, when I was at the park with C and G we found the W of W."

Me: "The W of W is written in the scriptures".

J: "Oh, I guess it was a flower that looked like the W of W".
